POSITION TITLE: Junior High Wrestling Coach (Job Description)
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires at minimum a high school diploma and at least 2 to 3 years of experience working in public education extra-curricular programs/events in a high school/middle school environment.
Teach and develop sports specific skills strategies and fundamentals.
Supervise and mentor student-athletes to support both athletic and personal growth.
Evaluate student-athlete performance and provide constructive feedback and development plans.
Develop game strategies and make in-game decisions to maximize team performance.
Ensure the health safety and well-being of all student-athletes during practices travel and competitions.
Monitor and enforce compliance with league school organizational and safety regulations.
Coordinate team schedules travel arrangements equipment and program logistics.
Communicate effectively with student-athletes parents staff administrators officials and community members.
Recruit supervised and evaluate assistant coaches and support staff as applicable.
Maintain accurate records reports inventories and program documentation.
Promote academic achievement leadership and character development among student-athletes.
LOCATION: Columbia Borough High/Middle School Hill Campus
STATUS: Seasonal
CONTRACT: Supplemental
