As a Junior Front-End Engineer youll play an active role in designing and implementing UI/UX components for our core products. Youll work closely with a team of UX designers data scientists and software engineers to solve complex problemsmaking this an ideal environment to accelerate your technical growth while delivering high-impact solutions for our users.

• A bachelors degree in computer science or another engineering or science discipline or completion of a software development boot camp and 02 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript with a solid understanding of language fundamentals asynchronous programming and modern front-end development practices
• Familiarity with UI/UX knowledge of design patterns and experience designing and styling applications with CSS
• Experience building web applications with React through professional academic or personal projects
• Experience working with REST APIs and integrating back-end services into front-end applications
• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows
• Familiarity with component frameworks like Material UI or similar frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills curiosity and an eagerness to learn
• US citizenship and eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a US security clearance (Secret or above)

The following isnt required but wed love to see it:

• Demonstrated software development through personal academic or open source projects
• Experience with GraphQL
• Familiarity with libraries such as React Query/TanStack Axios Context API styled-components
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS GCP Azure) automated testing frameworks and/or CI/CD processes
• Familiarity with Python or Golang
• Experience implementing and deploying software in containerized or cloud environments using tools such as Docker Podman or Kubernetes (K8s)
• Passion for discussing and creating mocks in Figma; working directly with design to create the best user experience
• Active Secret (or above) US security clearance

This position offers a hybrid/on-site work environment at our office in Austin TX.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100000$130000/year. Striveworks total compensation package includes a competitive base salary equity grants and cash bonuses.
