Your work environment at EXP

In this role you will be a part of the Engineering Team of the Oil & Gas and Chemical Sectorbased in Houston Texasoffice.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Assist senior engineers in the mechanical design and engineering.
• Develop engineering drawings.
• Prepare and update mechanical design calculations equipment data sheets specifications and technical reports.
• Support the design and selection of static equipment such as pressure vessels heat exchangers storage tanks and piping components.
• Assist in piping and equipment layout studies to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Perform basic stress analysis hydraulic calculations and mechanical integrity evaluations under supervision.
• Coordinate with process piping civil electrical and instrumentation disciplines to ensure integrated project execution.
• Review vendor documentation technical bids and manufacturing drawings for compliance with project specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards including ASME API ASTM and client specifications.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned engineering deliverables.
• Follow company quality procedures safety requirements and project schedules.

What your experience looks like

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Computer knowledge and efficiency including Microsoft Office products
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
