What You Will Do:

• Provide technical support and guidance in the collection analysis and visualization of various data.

• Support data analysis and data visualization activities using tools such as Google Sheets Power BI Tableau R Python Socrata and others.

• Assist in creating maintaining and improving data products reports dashboards and visualizations.

• Help gather organize validate and analyze data to support transportation policy program and performance needs.

• Collaborate with team members to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data collection and analysis processes.

• Respond to requests for data support and help ensure timely delivery of accurate information products.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelors degree in data analytics statistics computer science information systems mathematics economics or a related field

• Zero(0) to Two(2) years of professional experience.

• Experience or familiarity with one or more data analysis and visualization platforms such as Google Sheets Power BI Tableau R Python or Socrata.

• Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.

• Ability to collect clean analyze and present data accurately.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support multiple priorities.

• Must be US citizens.

• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

• Must work from the client HQ in Washington DC four days per week.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience supporting transportation data policy or performance reporting.

• Familiarity with the U.S. DOT or highway policy information data environment.

• Experience developing dashboards reports or visualizations for external or internal stakeholders.

• Knowledge of data quality assurance practices and data management best practices.

• Exposure to public-sector data collection analysis or reporting tools.
