Job Summary
The Town of Middlefield Parks & Recreation Department is seeking responsible and enthusiastic Junior Camp Counselors to assist with its Summer Youth Camp program.
Junior Counselors support Camp Counselors and camp leadership in supervising campers leading activities and helping create a safe and fun environment for children throughout the summer.
This position is ideal for individuals beginning their first or second summer working with children who are interested in gaining experience in youth recreation and leadership.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum age: 16 years oldInterest in working with children and youthResponsible dependable and able to work as part of a teamPositive attitude and willingness to learnPreferred QualificationsPrior experience volunteering or working with childrenLeadership experience through school sports or community programsInterest in education recreation or youth development
