The Opportunity:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop test and maintain application features under the guidance of senior developers.

  • Implement web application functionality using Java and/or Python and modern frameworks.

  • Support integration of application components with APIs services and databases.

  • Assist with GIS-enabled feature development and geospatial service enhancements.

  • Participate in code reviews unit testing debugging and documentation.

  • Apply secure coding practices and follow established engineering standards.

  • Contribute within sprint cycles as part of a cross-functional Agile team.



Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience accepted).

  • 03 years of professional software development experience.

  • Experience developing software using Java Python or both (academic internship or professional).

  • Familiarity with web application development concepts and technologies.

  • Understanding of relational databases and basic data modeling principles.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

  • Security Clearance (TS/SCI) with willingness to undergo polygraph examination.




Desired:

  • Exposure to GIS technologies (ArcGIS GeoServer OpenLayers Cesium or similar).

  • Familiarity with Git CI/CD or containerization tools.

  • Coursework or projects involving Agile development practices.

  • Experience using geospatial software such as Esri ArcGIS Pro / ArcGIS Enterprise and related APIs.
