POSITION SUMMARY

Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team in the NYC headquarters. The Junior Accountant responsibilities will include all aspects of the general ledger and month-end closing. This is a deadline-driven environment as strong analytical skills attention to detail and communication skills are .

This position will be on a Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the New York City office located at 25 Madison Ave.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation of all intercompany invoices

• Recording of monthly journal entries

• Provide feedback to manager on ways to enhance and streamline the invoicing process

• Daily monitoring of the AP clearing accounts

• Preparation of analysis schedules

• Preparation of bank reconciliations

• Assist with the monthly accounting close

• Assist with special projects which may arise

• Honesty trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

Your qualifications and experience should include:

• BS Degree in Accounting

• 1-2 years Accounting experience

• Experienced in SAP Accounting software

• Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
