Jr Cloud EngineerAWS Administrator

Razor is looking for a Jr Cloud Engineer/AWS Administrator to support the development integration deployment and sustainment of cloud-native services within mission-critical U.S. Government environments. This role focuses on hybrid cloud technologies containerization automation monitoring and application support across Linux-based cloud environments.

Education & Certification Requirements: Relevant technical education or equivalent professional experience. Kubernetes certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are preferred.

Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance required for classified assignments. A full-scope polygraph may be required depending on the specific assignment and access requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design implement integrate and test cloud-native features and capabilities
• Support hybrid cloud environments using containerization orchestration and serverless technologies
• Develop and support web-based interfaces and REST or gRPC APIs
• Work with Kafka NATS RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies
• Support automation using Ansible Bash Go and related tools
• Support monitoring and logging technologies including Prometheus Grafana Elasticsearch and Kibana
• Manage cloud package repositories including Yum and Helm
• Work across Kubernetes AWS Azure and private cloud environments
• Utilize Git and Agile tools such as Jira within Scrum or Kanban teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud application and infrastructure issues

Qualifications:

• 4 years of recent programming experience with Java Python C Go or equivalent platform integration/automation experience
• Experience developing applications in Linux environments
• 3 years of experience with Docker or similar containerization technologies
• 2 years of experience deploying applications with Kubernetes or similar orchestration technologies
• Experience supporting cloud-native or hybrid cloud environments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Desired Skills:

• AWS cloud administration experience
• CKAD or CKA certification
• Open-source software experience
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community environments
