Position Title: Jr. Backend Engineer
Location: New York & Connecticut (5 Days Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to lead the development of scalable backend systems and drive our migration to a cloud-native architecture.
This role requires technical leadership deep expertise in backend and cloud technologies and a strong commitment to agile and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Architect design and implement robust backend services and workflows.
Lead technical discussions and mentor junior team members.
Ensure best practices in code quality testing documentation and deployment.
Drive cloud-native migration and optimization efforts primarily on AWS.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.

Preferred Qualifications:
Programming Languages: Python (preferred) or Golang/Java with advanced object-oriented programming skills.
Cloud Platforms: AWS (preferred) or Azure with deep experience in cloud architecture.
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (preferred) or AWS CloudFormation.
Version Control: GitHub (preferred) or GitLab.
Development Practices: Proven experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Agile Methodology: Scrum using Rally (preferred) or Jira.
EDI Standards: Working knowledge of X12 formats (nice to have).
