Journeyman Sheet Metal Mechanic

Skillforce is currently hiring Journeyman Commercial Sheet Metal Mechanics in St. Petersburg FL for upcoming commercial projects. Pay is up to $30 per hour based on experience and skillset. Commercial Sheetmetal Mechanic Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpretblueprints drawings and layout plans
• Install commercial ductwork including spiral/ round and rectangular systems along with associated hangers and supports
• Experience installing and working with VAVS
• Accurately measure cut and assemble Sheet Metal materials
• Maintain job site safety and follow OSHA standards

Commercial Sheetmetal Mechanic Qualifications:

• Proficient in reading and interpretingblueprints drawings and layout plans
• 6 years exp. preferred
• Experience in installing commercial ductwork including spiral/ round and rectangular systems along with associated hangers and supports
• Hands- on experience installing and working with VAVS
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. and performing required jobsite tasks
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Must provide own tools and PPE
