The function of this role is to set up and operate sheet metal fabrication equipment press brakes & turret punch presses to produce a variety of non-repetitive assemblies and parts.

• Interpret and work from manufacturing information drawings sketches SAP and both written and oral instructions.
• Set up operate and maintain numerical controlled turret and press brake machines including programming tool changes and adjustments to meet specifications for a variety of metallic parts.
• Inspect manufactured parts against drawings perform necessary mathematical calculations and recognize and address machine malfunctions or tool wear.
• Handle material movement part sorting and delivery; maintain a clean and orderly work area; and perform routine machine maintenance and safety checks.
• Maintain required records notify supervisors of equipment issues and contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing suggestions and editing programs as needed.
• Punch pierce emboss blank notch slot and form a variety of metallic parts.

• GED or High School Diploma
