MUMPS (M Language) is a specialized programming language and database technology used primarily in core banking healthcare and other high-volume transaction systems. At FIS it is commonly used in the Profile Core Banking platform which handles critical banking operations such as customer accounts deposits loans and transactions.

How to Identify the Right Candidate

Look for candidates who have experience with:

MUMPS (M Language) development
FIS Profile Core Banking platform
PSL (Profile Scripting Language) an extension of MUMPS used within Profile
Banking domain knowledge (deposits loans payments customer accounts)
Production support enhancements and maintenance of core banking applications
