Job Summary

Job role: Java Developer

Duration: 1 week

Location: 100% Onsite in Vancouver WA

The person will evaluate the current situation understand requirements and define the scope of work. The person can complete the work anytime within an agreed timeframe (not fixed 9 5 hours).

Required Skills:

Basic Java programming
SSL/certificate troubleshooting
Eclipse IDE (creating/running JARs runtime configuration)
Running Java applications on Linux (various distributions)

Day to Day:

Fix test and stabilize environment
Short assignment (2 3 days) focused on fixing expired Java certification issues
Update system and restore ability to run application
Download and configure new version of Eclipse
Rebuild/validate Java runtime and JAR execution environment
Troubleshoot Java certificate/SSL-related failure blocking execution
Ensure application runs correctly on Linux (multiple distributions)

Environment context:

Java application currently blocked due to expired certificate
Need to restore ability to run application in production-like environment
Work includes Eclipse setup JAR creation/execution and runtime Java validation
Some HTML collection/pages involved in application flow
