SCHEDULE: Floor Tech - Saturday & Sunday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Forklift Driver - Saturday & Sunday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly - Every Friday

Frantz Building Services is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Janitorial Floor Tech and Forklift Operator to join our team in a manufacturing and production facility. This position combines industrial cleaning responsibilities with forklift operation to support a clean safe and efficient work environment.

Position Summary

The Janitorial Floor Tech and Forklift Operator is responsible for maintaining facility cleanliness operating floor care equipment and safely operating a forklift throughout the facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards while following all safety procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Janitorial & Floor Care Duties

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of production areas restrooms break rooms locker rooms and common areas.
• Operate industrial floor scrubbers burnishers buffers and other floor care equipment.
• Sweep mop scrub and maintain hard surface floors.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclable materials.
• Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces and equipment.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Follow all facility sanitation and safety standards.

Forklift Duties

• Safely operate a forklift throughout the facility.
• Load unload transport and stage materials as needed.
• Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections and report any safety concerns.
• Follow facility traffic patterns and forklift safety procedures.
• Assist with inventory movement and storage when required.

Qualifications for Floor Tech

• Previous janitorial floor tech experience. (1-2 years)
• Ability to safely operate industrial cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and transportation
• Must pass pre-employment screening requirements.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record

Qualifications for Forklift Driver

• Previous forklift driving experience preferred; certification is a plus. (1-2 years)
• Ability to safely operate industrial cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and transportation
• Must pass pre-employment screening requirements.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand walk bend stoop reach and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing and production environment.
• Must be able to work around machinery noise etc.
• Ability to push and pull cleaning equipment and waste containers.

Safety Requirements

• Steel-toe boots or steel-toe shoes are required.
• Safety glasses and ear plugs are required and will be provided by the company.
• Must follow all PPE and facility safety policies.
• Must be able to work safely in active production areas around forklifts machinery and moving equipment.
