Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking trustworthy janitor to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our facility. This temp-to-permanent role involves routine cleaning restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented reliable and take ownership of their responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities and Duties (but Not Limited to):
- Sweep mop and vacuum floors regularly
- Clean restrooms and restock supplies
- Sanitize surfaces and high-touch areas
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Clean windows glass doors and fixtures
- Refill paper towels toilet paper and soap dispensers
- Report needed repairs or supply shortages
- Maintain janitorial equipment in working order
- Follow safety protocols and cleaning schedules
- Assist with event setup or emergency cleanups when needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and supplies
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management and reliability
- Physical stamina to lift bend and stand for long periods
- Familiarity with safety procedures and cleaning products
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus
Other Information:
- This position is a temp-to-permanent position
- Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
