Position SummaryThe Test Proctor plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and smooth administration of exams in the Testing Center. This position is responsible for ensuring that all testing procedures are followed providing support to students with accommodations and fostering a professional secure and inclusive testing Duties & ResponsibilitiesExaminee ReadinessEnsure all required check-in and security screening procedures are completed before students enter the testing students and verify their exam details including duration assigned seating and permitted security checks to ensure students do not possess unauthorized & Exam AdministrationMaintain exam integrity by ensuring all procedures are followed and students are supported throughout student identities confirm seating arrangements and monitor students throughout the time limits and provide periodic time updates. Maintain a quiet and controlled testing environment. Collaborate with the Testing Center Coordinators to address student questions and resolve issues. Keep records of test administration. Assist students with assistive technologies and testing platforms used in the testing vigilant in monitoring multiple students for potential academic integrity violations and document and report any suspected incidents to Testing Center coordinators in accordance with Testing Center Management & Testing EnvironmentEnsure all materials and testing spaces are properly confidentiality of student information including disabilities and testing materials logs and related and replenish supplies such as pencils pens and scratch desks and testing areas clean organized and completed exams and verify all materials are accounted for through accurate completed exams to other duties as Skills Abilities & Other AttributesAn Associate degree is required; Bachelors degree is attention to detail and ability to remain alert for extended to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive communication and interpersonal with basic computer systems and testing software to read college-level exam questions to follow detailed procedures and enforce policies Working ConditionsRequires prolonged periods of sitting or standing while monitoring maintain focus in a quiet controlled testing involve interaction with students experiencing test-related require working during (7:45 AM-12 or 12-4 PM) or/and evening (4-7:30 PM) hoursWill work 10-12 hours per week during the regular semester; Up to 20 hours are available during the regular semester for interested candidates subject to change based on the needs of the University
