J-1 Spa Attendant Work & Travel

This is a seasonal position from December through Marchworking weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 6:00 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.

As a J-1 Spa Attendant you will help create a welcomingclean and relaxing environment for guests throughout their spa experience. Youwill provide exceptional guest service maintain spa amenities and facilitiesand support daily spa operations to ensure every guest enjoys a memorableexperience.

J-1 Work & Travel Program This program isdesigned for university students from other countries who are on academic breakand looking for seasonal employment in the United States. The primary focus iscultural exchange giving participants the opportunity to gain work experience whileexperiencing American culture.

Specific Responsibilities

• Adhere to Forbes Five-Star standards Kohler Hospitality policies departmental SOPs and workplace procedures.
• Participate in daily huddles team meetings training and cross-training opportunities.
• Develop proficiency in all Spa Attendant functions including Back of House Facility Concierge and Respite responsibilities.
• Maintain the cleanliness organization and presentation of guest and operational areas throughout the spa.
• Replenish amenities and supplies while supporting facility cleanliness and daily operations.
• Assist guests with lockers robes sandals amenities and general spa needs.
• Support spa technicians Guest Services and leadership teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Complete assigned checklists opening and closing duties and operational tasks.
• Identify and report safety maintenance and facility concerns.
• Uphold guest privacy relaxation standards and spa policies.
• Perform physical duties including walking standing lifting carrying pushing and pulling supplies and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and other resort departments to support daily operations.

Skills/Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Previous customer service experience required
• Prior computer experience is helpful
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Ability to maintain professionalism and Forbes Five-Star service standards

The hourly rate for this position is $14.00 - $20.00 plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidates education and work location.
