About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Epic Applications Project Manager to lead the application planning implementation and activation activities supporting a major laboratory and pharmacy centralization initiative. This is not a construction project management role. The focus is on Epic application implementation healthcare technology integration operational readiness workflow redesign and relocation of clinical operations.
The Project Manager will lead enterprise-wide initiatives involving Epic Beaker (Laboratory) or Epic Willow (Pharmacy) collaborating with executive leadership clinical operations Health IT vendors and technical teams to ensure a successful transition into a new centralized healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project planning execution monitoring and delivery.
Manage Epic Beaker or Epic Willow implementation optimization and activation activities.
Develop and maintain project plans timelines budgets and resource allocations.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including clinical operations IT laboratory pharmacy vendors and executive stakeholders.
Drive risk identification mitigation planning and issue resolution.
Manage operational readiness workflow redesign and change management initiatives.
Ensure successful technology integration including laboratory systems interfaces automation and supporting infrastructure.
Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and project governance.
Track project metrics milestones deliverables and financial performance.
Lead vendor coordination and third-party implementation activities.
Support relocation planning and go-live readiness.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
5-8 years of Project Management experience.
Minimum 2 years managing Healthcare IT projects.
Strong experience managing Epic implementations.
Hands-on experience with:
Epic Beaker (Lab) or
Epic Willow (Pharmacy)
Experience leading enterprise technology initiatives.
Proven expertise in project planning budgeting scheduling and resource management.
Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills.
Experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
