In this role you will be working as an IT Support Specialist for a client that involved in electrical contracting / construction

• Responsiblefortheday-to-daydesktop/laptopcellulartelephoneandlocalnetworksupportof assigned offices and jobsites.

• Provideend-usersupportandproblemresolutionfordesktopcomputerslaptop/notebook computers printers and other peripheral hardware and software applications.

• Utilizeourtrouble-ticketingsystemtodocumentyourworkandfacilitatecommunicationwithourclients.

• Responsible for implementation configuration coordination control maintenance troubleshootingsecurityusagemonitoringandthedevelopmentofspecializedsystems/ operational procedures.

• AssessingjobsiteIT support requirements circuit ordering and implementation equipment ordering and delivery and continued support throughout the life of the jobsite.

This position is a 6 month temporary contract role that could get extended longer term or possibly direct for the right candidate

Qualifications

• 3 yrs IT Support
• Working knowledge and practical experience of the following technologies: networkingActiveDirectoryStorageAreaNetworkvirtualmachinesandDisasterRecovery procedures and policies
• ConversantinMicrosoftoperatingsystemsandproductivitytools
• ExperiencewithCisconetworkequipmentisaplus
• EngineeringandConstructionRelatedIndustryKnowledgedesired
• SystemAdministrationandsupportexperiencewouldbedesired
• ProficientinusingacomputerandMicrosoftOffice(OutlookWordExceletc.)
• Oraclepreferred
