WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
is in the early innings of a quiet revolution: making world-class 1:1 tutoring available to every student on Earth. Our K-12 product EverTutor is already live in classrooms. The product is good but the boring truth of any pilot is that classrooms are a brutal environment for software: flaky Wi-Fi locked-down devices unpredictable usage patterns. We need someone on the ground who can help audit tech issues and report to the engineering team in our Berkeley office.
Our debut consumer app PadhAI has coached 200000 learners and in a live showdown claimed National Rank #1 on the 2024 UPSC exam outscoring 1.3M students and even GPT-4o and Claude 3. The achievement was covered by 70 national news outlets across India.
SigIQ was founded in July 2023 by Dr. Karttikeya Mangalam (CEO and AI lead) a Berkeley PhD advised by Jitendra Malik with 40 papers cited 7000 times across UC Berkeley Stanford Meta AI Google AI and IIT Kanpur. He is joined by co-founder Prof. Kurt Keutzer and a world-class team drawn from UC Berkeley Stanford EPFL IIT Bombay and IIT Kanpur.
ABOUT EVERTUTOR
EverTutor is voice-first multimodal AI tutor purpose-built for K-12. It is not a chatbot. Students talk to it it sees their work and it scaffolds them through problems the way a great human tutor would.
The platform includes:
An interactive AI system that uses a whiteboard to teach students in 8 languages.
- EverTutor Studio a Canva-like authoring tool for teachers and SMEs.
- A standards-mastery dashboard with student-level knowledge-graph visualizations.
EverTutor sessions average 25 minutes about 2.5x the industry baseline. The Greater Dayton pilot is a flagship K-12 deployment and you will be the human bridge between what the school sees and what our engineers can act on.
