IT Senior Database Administrator (Multiple Openings)
Offered Salary: $85000-$130000
The specific duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
databases within the Oracle Microsoft SQL MySQL and PostgreSQL database technology stack
databases within the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code workflows to provision configure patch and harden database platforms with repeatable idempotent automation
data replication and integrity across the enterprise
and tuning along with SQL PL/SQL and T-SQL development
and maintaining technical support documentation for applications
to security best practices access control and security policies
day-to-day adherence with change control concepts and practices
24x7 support on critical systems in an on-call rotation
as a technical expert and reference point for wider technical queries
other members of the team
The skills and qualifications required for this position include:
Possess a bachelors degree in IT Data Science Actuarial Science Computer Science or related field of study; plus
3 years of experience in Database Administration Systems Engineering or closely related field
1.3 years of experience in:
databases within the Oracle or Microsoft SQL database technology stack
data replication and integrity
on SQL PL/SQL or T-SQL/MSSQL development and
technical support documentation for applications
2.2 years of experience managing cloud database systems
knowledge in scripting and performance tuning
strong organization planning and prioritizing abilities skills
strong math aptitude
written and oral communication
in learning and performing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
in working independently as well as in a team environment
