The IT Nuclear Projects (ITN) team is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to support high-priority IT programs across the nuclear fleet. Embedded within the ITN Projects Team this Project Manager will provide project governance financial management and cross-functional coordination across vendor and internal IT Project Managers ensuring workstreams are aligned on schedule and delivered to organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Governance & Tracking
Maintain a consolidated view of all assigned IT project workstreams milestones and dependencies.
Proactively identify and resolve schedule risks across vendor and internal Project Manager teams.
Own the IT risk and issues register; escalate critical risks to IT leadership in a timely structured manner.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
Develop and deliver regular status reports to IT and business leadership.
Translate technical project updates into clear leadership-ready reporting.
Standards & Delivery Alignment
Ensure all assigned projects adhere to IT delivery standards and governance frameworks.
Conduct governance reviews to identify and close delivery gaps.
Budget & Financial Management
Develop and maintain project budgets targeting 5% variance; monitor actuals on a recurring cadence.
Deliver accurate forecasting and financial reporting packages for IT leadership.
Partner with IT Finance on budget cycle planning.
Vendor Oversight
Lead Statement of Work (SOW) creation and manage the full Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle through invoice reconciliation.
Manage vendor relationships performance and contractual compliance.
Coordinate Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) reviews for vendor onboarding; partner with Procurement and Legal to ensure compliant spend.
Technical Domain Experience
Hands-on IT Project Management experience in the following areas is strongly preferred:
Network Infrastructure (LAN/WAN Wireless)
Server & Infrastructure
End User Device Deployments
Cybersecurity & Compliance
Communications Technology
Required Qualifications
8 years of IT Project Management experience managing complex multi-workstream programs.
Demonstrated vendor governance and oversight experience.
Strong financial acumen including SOW/PO management budget forecasting and variance management ( 5% target).
Experience with GRC reviews and procurement in regulated environments.
Excellent executive stakeholder communication skills.
Experience in highly regulated industries (nuclear utilities or energy preferred).
Proficiency with Jira ServiceNow and/or Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications
Nuclear or large-scale utility site project experience.
PMP or equivalent certification.
Familiarity with IT delivery standards.
Agile Scrum or hybrid delivery experience.
Key Competencies

High financial discipline with variance accountability.
Proactive communicator who brings visibility by default.
