IT Program Manager

Job Summary
- Lead the planning execution and delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects and initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Government customers stakeholders technical teams and corporate leadership.
- Anticipate customer needs proactively address program challenges and identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and mission outcomes.
- Develop and maintain project plans schedules budgets milestones and performance metrics.
- Manage project scope risks issues dependencies and change requests.
- Coordinate activities across technical teams business stakeholders vendors and leadership.
- Monitor program performance and provide regular status reports dashboards and executive-level briefings.
- Ensure projects are completed on time within budget and in accordance with established requirements and quality standards.
- Lead project meetings stakeholder discussions and technical coordination activities.
- Manage and mentor project managers technical leads and other program resources as applicable.
- Support IT modernization system implementations cloud initiatives infrastructure upgrades cybersecurity and other technology projects.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies security requirements and project management standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve IT processes service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Manage vendor and contractor performance and ensure contractual deliverables are met.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Information Systems Business Project Management or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
- 7 years of progressive experience managing IT projects or programs including experience leading complex technical initiatives and cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing a Federal Government IT services contract.
- Demonstrated experience managing project schedules budgets resources risks and deliverables.
- Broad understanding of enterprise IT environments including infrastructure applications cloud technologies cybersecurity and IT service management.
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
- Strong leadership communication problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project Jira Azure DevOps ServiceNow or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum Waterfall and hybrid project management methodologies.
- Experience supporting IT modernization infrastructure or enterprise application initiatives.
- Experience developing executive-level reports presentations project dashboards and performance metrics.
- CompTIA Security
- CompTIA Network and/or A
- ITIL Foundation or higher
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or other Agile/Scrum certification
