IT Portfolio Analyst

The IT Portfolio Analyst plays a key role in enabling Crescents technology strategy by providing portfolio-level visibility financial discipline and decision support across IT initiatives. This role partners closely with IT leaders business stakeholders Finance & Accounting to ensure technology investments are aligned with corporate priorities delivered efficiently and managed with transparency.

The ideal candidate is analytical detail-oriented and comfortable working at the intersection of technology finance and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze the IT project and application portfolio ensuring alignment with Crescents strategic objectives and business priorities
• Track and report on IT spend forecasts budgets and variances in partnership with Finance
• Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards KPIs and executive-level reporting to support informed decision-making
• Support intake prioritization and governance processes for IT initiatives including business case analysis and benefits tracking
• Monitor project and portfolio health identifying risks dependencies and opportunities for optimization
• Assist with resource planning and capacity analysis across IT teams
• Ensure portfolio data integrity across systems and reporting tools
• Support continuous improvement of portfolio management processes tools and standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems Finance Business Engineering or commensurate experience
• 3 years of experience in IT portfolio management PMO financial analysis or a related analytical role
• Strong understanding of project and portfolio management concepts
• Experience with budgeting forecasting and financial analysis
• Proficiency with portfolio management tools spreadsheets and data visualization/reporting platforms such as Excel and PowerBI
• Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in energy upstream oil & gas or capital-intensive industries
• Familiarity with Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments
• Experience supporting executive or senior leadership reporting
