Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Operations Specialist to ensure the stability performance and security of IT systems and infrastructure. This role is responsible for monitoring daily IT operations managing incidents and supporting continuous improvement of systems and services.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in infrastructure management system monitoring and operational support within a fast-paced IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain IT systems servers and network infrastructure
- Ensure high availability performance and reliability of IT services
- Manage incident response troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Support system upgrades patches and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve technical issues
- Maintain system documentation runbooks and operational procedures
- Implement and manage monitoring tools and alerting systems
- Support cloud and on-premise infrastructure (AWS Azure or similar)
- Ensure compliance with security policies and operational standards
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 36 years of experience in IT operations system administration or infrastructure support
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS VPNs)
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios Splunk Datadog)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

- Familiarity with service management frameworks (ITIL)
