Job Summary
Overview
Client is seeking a customer-focused collaborative and technically strong Helpdesk Technician II to provide hands-on support for end users across the organization. This role is responsible for resolving hardware software access and connectivity issues while following established procedures in a manufacturing environment.
The Helpdesk Technician II works closely with the Helpdesk team in Irvine CA and the infrastructure team to deliver reliable timely technical support for employees and business operations.
Core Responsibilities
Provide onsite and remote support for end-user hardware software peripherals mobile devices and connectivity issues.
Log prioritize troubleshoot and resolve support tickets while meeting SLA targets and maintaining accurate documentation.
Execute onboarding and offboarding activities including account setup device provisioning and access changes.
Image deploy and maintain more than 300 workstations using Intune.
Support conference room technology printers and end-user devices on the manufacturing floor.
Maintain accurate asset records for assigned returned and retired equipment.
Contribute to knowledge base articles and user documentation.
Educate users on cybersecurity best practices and report suspected security incidents.
Essential Qualifications Skills and Technologies
2 years of Level 2 or Level 3 helpdesk or technical support experience.
Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN and wireless troubleshooting.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Awareness of phishing social engineering and password security practices.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work onsite.
Preferred Skills or Experience
CompTIA A Network or Microsoft 365 certifications.
ITIL Foundation certification.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Work Details
Part-time position with a maximum of 32 hours per week.
