About this Role

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking an IT Field Technician I or II to provide onsite technical support for corporate offices construction sites and power generation projects. This hands-on role is responsible for installing maintaining and troubleshooting IT hardware software and network connectivity to ensure reliable operations across field and office environments. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently solving technical problems and supporting users in fast-paced project settings.

What Youll Do
  • Install configure and support desktops laptops tablets mobile devices printers and peripheral equipment.
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to end users diagnosing and resolving hardware software and connectivity issues.
  • Assist with deployment configuration and maintenance of network equipment including switches wireless access points and firewalls.
  • Perform workstation setups device imaging software installations and user account provisioning.
  • Support Microsoft Windows Microsoft 365 and other business-critical applications.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure accurate documentation of equipment and support activities.
  • Assist with technology rollouts upgrades relocations and infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and support operational needs.
  • Follow company cybersecurity safety and operational procedures.
  • Travel to project sites and office locations as needed to provide field support.
What Youll Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of IT support desktop support or field services experience.
  • Working knowledge of networking technologies including Cisco and/or Meraki environments.
  • Experience supporting endpoint devices printers mobile devices and enterprise software applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with minimal supervision.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project locations 50% of the time.
