Job Responsibilities:
- Required: BS in an IT discipline MIS or equivalent
- In special circumstances candidates who have not met the required education but have substantial manufacturing work experience that is applicable to the job may be considered.
- Assumes responsibilities for divisions MRP/ERP business systems.
- Acts as a positive role model within the IT group.
- Supports business systems on a day-to-day basis.
- Research reported problems and proposed solutions.
- Designs solutions for productivity and efficiency of the business.
- Communicates effectively with internal and external customers.
- Participates in evaluation of new business-related software.
- Manages upgrades and patches to existing software applications when required.
- Maintains an acceptable attendance record.
- Participates in resolution of computer system problems (hardware or software) as needed.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Participates in department meetings.
- Completes documentation of activities as required.
- Submits cost reduction and innovation ideas.
- Mentors less experienced IT members.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Required: Minimum 5-7 years of experience supporting business systems from an IT perspective
- Preferred: MES experience integration experience between MES and MRP systems SAP background
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have good problem-solving skills.
- Must have excellent computer skills.
- Must work well with others.
- Must have good written and verbal communications.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Must exhibit continuous improvement behavior.
- Must demonstrate leadership traits.
