The IT Deployment Specialist is responsible for planning coordinating and executing the deployment of hardware software systems and technology solutions across the organization. This role ensures technology rollouts are completed efficiently securely and in alignment with operational requirements and IT standards.
The IT Deployment Specialist collaborates with infrastructure support security and project teams to support system implementations device provisioning upgrades and user onboarding in a fully remote environment.
This is a fully remote position; however applicants must currently reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and execute deployment of hardware software and IT systems
Configure laptops desktops mobile devices and peripheral equipment
Support operating system installations upgrades and patch management
Manage deployment schedules inventory tracking and asset documentation
Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve deployment-related issues
Ensure compliance with security policies and configuration standards
Assist with employee onboarding and device provisioning processes
Maintain accurate records of deployed assets and system changes
Perform testing and quality assurance for system rollouts
Provide end-user guidance and technical support during deployments
Required Qualifications
Associate or Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field preferred
25 years of experience in IT support deployment desktop administration or infrastructure operations
Strong understanding of Windows macOS and mobile operating systems
Experience with device configuration imaging and deployment processes
Knowledge of networking fundamentals and IT troubleshooting
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and customer support abilities
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with endpoint management and deployment tools such as Microsoft Intune Jamf or SCCM
Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management
Experience with cloud identity and collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
IT certifications such as CompTIA A Network or Microsoft certifications
Experience supporting remote or distributed workforces
