Job Summary
We need a strategic and tactical thinker to manage key vendor relationships especially our offsite logistics partner and to execute asset procedures and assess and enforce compliance with asset policies. You will ensure our asset data is pristine inventory is optimized deployments are rapid and compliance is maintained all while controlling costs.
Program Development: Provide input on standard and best practices working with the IT Asset Program Manager to develop a comprehensive ITAM framework (aligning with ITIL) for the entire hardware lifecyclefrom procurement to disposal. This includes all end-user networking and AV equipment across all corporate and jobsite locations.
Process & Vendor Management: Collaborate with the IT Asset Program Manager to establish document and enforce all hardware asset management procedures and SLAs for both internal teams and the external logistics vendor. Act as the primary relationship manager for this vendor ensuring all processes are optimized for rapid deployment efficient asset recovery and a seamless end-user experience and that processes are adhered to.
CMDB & Data Integrity: Collaborate with the IT Asset Program Manager to optimize ServiceNows ITAM capabilities ensuring the CMDB is the reliable source of truth for asset data. Conduct regular audits and reconciliations (e.g. against vendor reports) to ensure data integrity enforce process compliance and drive continuous improvement.
Inventory & Financial Management: Monitor and maintain hardware stock levels to support new hires break/fix and rapid jobsite deployments. Partner with Finance and Procurement to forecast needs assist with budgeting and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Compliance & Disposal: Ensure all asset processes especially disposal are secure auditable and compliant with policy. Coordinate the secure retrieval of hardware from decommissioned sites and from end users. Store data destruction certificates in approved locations.
Reporting & Metrics: Collaborate with the IT Asset Program Manager to develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to report on asset status compliance and program effectiveness to senior leadership.
Experience: 3 years in an IT Asset Management role with a proven track record of increasing responsibility.
Standards Expertise: Knowledge of ITAM/ITIL frameworks
Technical Skills: Strong experience with ITAM/CMDB platforms (ServiceNow preferred) discovery tools and strong data analysis/reporting skills.
Vendor Management: Experience managing third-party logistics vendors including contract participation and SLA enforcement.
Communication: Ability to clearly communicate complex IT and financial concepts and reasoning to diverse audiences from technical staff to senior executives.
Leading by Example: A self-starter with the ability to work independently manage projects and who rolls up their sleeves and pitches in to drive results.
Analytical & Data-Driven: Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills to perform complex reconciliations and maintain accurate data for decision-making.
Certifications: ITIL Foundation CITAM CSAM or similar.
Education: Bachelors degree in IT Business Finance or a related field.
Industry Experience: Experience in construction logistics or a similar industry with a highly mobile workforce and distributed temporary sites.
Familiarity: Knowledge of a wide range of IT hardware (networking AV mobile) MDM platforms (e.g. Intune Jamf) and discovery tools.

The Physical Side of the Role: Given that a good portion of your day will be spent at a desk you should be comfortable with prolonged periods of focused work whether its collaborating with colleagues analyzing data or developing strategies. The role demands effective communication and sharp visual acuity for reviewing complex documents and performing detailed computer work. While there are times for quiet concentration youll also be expected to move actively throughout the office and travel occasionally to various locations including dynamic construction sites utilizing different modes of transportation. The ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds on occasion (think a box of files or small office equipment) is also required.
Your Work Environment: Your primary workspace will be in our professional office which has a typical quiet-to-moderate noise and light levels. As part of your work you may also be required to visit active construction sites. These environments are naturally more dynamic and can include exposure to outdoor weather conditions louder noise and moving equipment. For this role the base salary range is $45000 - $140000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors including a candidates education experience skills and geographic location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
