Position Overview

Our focus is simple but meaningful from our distribution centers to our stores and our offices every employee of C&S/SpartanNash and their family of companies works to help feed local families neighbors and communities. As an Intern you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the wholesale grocery industry contribute to meaningful projects and better understand what goes into running one of the largest privately held companies in the US. You will have the opportunity to work alongside other interns and C&S employees to expand your network participate in professional development opportunities and enjoy some fun activities!

Responsibilities:

Assist in daily operations and administrative tasks within the assigned department.

Support the preparation of presentations reports and other documentation.

Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.

Attend meetings take notes and contribute ideas and insights.

Aid in further enhancing department tools templates and methodologies

Gain exposure and knowledge on department functionalities

Develop positive professional relationships across departments

Complete special projects as assigned by your manager

Complete an end-of-internship presentation to showcase the completion of learning objectives

Support the production and maintenance of internal tools and applications used by multiple departments within the organization

Shadow existing team members and attend business requirement meetings to understand how business requirements are translated to IT solutions

Work with developer teams to explain business need

Test applications during various phases of the development cycle

Paid Internship

12-week internship from May to August

Location: Keene NH (hybrid)

Were searching for interns that are:

Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree program from an accredited university

In good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or better

Junior or Senior standing at the time of the internship

Currently majoring in Management Information Systems Business Information Systems Business analytics or Information Technology

Proficient with Googles suite of products preferred

Proficient with Excel required

Proficient with SQL required

Proficient with python or similar application (preferred)

Strong communicator both written and verbal

Able to think outside of the box and solve problems

Able to work both with a team and be independently successfully

Able to stay organized and pay close attention to detail
