POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

SKILL (Ability to do the job)

• Must possess good interpersonal communication skills including the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
• Must have an understanding business process from beginning to end
• Must possess strong problem-solving abilities as well as good analytical skills
• Understanding of OT equipment communication such as PLC (Siemens and Rockwell controllers) and Robot (Fanuc ABB Kuka and/or Motoman) tags and information extraction.
• Understanding of multiple computer programming languages i.e. JavaScript C# R Python C and/or Java
• Strong experience with relational databases i.e. SQL Server MySQL and Oracle. NoSQL databases experience is a plus
• In-depth understanding of database management systems online analytical processing (LLAP) and ETL (Extract transform load) framework
• Experience with the MQTT protocol
• Experience with capability studies (such as CPK Gage R and Gage R&R)
• Knowledgeable of statistical methods
• Familiarity with BI technologies i.e. Microsoft Power BI AWS Quicksight QlikView

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to speak hear and use hands to keyboard handle grasp and touch. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms and have adequate mobility to stand walk sit stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field of study

OTHER: Troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities highly desired.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may occasionally approach very high levels when moving around a factory floor.
