Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist for the Winsted CT and surrounding areas. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records monitoring stock levels and supporting daily warehouse and operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Track and maintain inventory levels accurately
- Receive inspect and record incoming materials and supplies
- Perform routine cycle counts and inventory audits
- Organize and maintain warehouse/storage areas
- Coordinate with purchasing operations and management teams
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Prepare inventory reports and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous inventory warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with inventory software or spreadsheets
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Forklift experience is a plus
