Job Summary
The Inventory Specialist position is responsible for receiving staging and storing inbound shipments; preparing packing and loading outbound orders; kitting; maintaining accurate inventory records; and ensuring compliance with safety and shipping regulations. The incumbent will work in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment requiring comfort with multi-tasking and shifts in priority.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Operating Material Handling equipment such as pallet banders fork trucks and pallet jacks.
- Processing outgoing and incoming shipments
- Organizing and kitting materials
- Maintaining records in ERP system
What Youll Have:
- 2 years warehouse/inventory experience
- 2 years ERP system experience
- 3-5 years experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to regularly move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive action-oriented mindset
