    Reports to:Warehouse Supervisor


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the outflow and inflow of inventory as well as storage activities.
  • Tracking and analyzing inventory maintenance conducting inventory counts (physically verifying lots quantities inventory movements).
  • Ensuring the warehouse and production teams are following FIFO.
  • Keeping accurate records of inventory. Creating/presenting inventory reports.
  • The ability to communicate within all departments and keep things orderly and flowing with planning procurement production and warehouse teams.
  • Work with the shipping/receiving clerks to see that all goods are shipped/received and stored properly.
  • Support the shipping/receiving techs when necessary.
  • The ability to step into any position in warehouse and be certified to use and train on all warehouse equipment.
  • Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety occupational safety environmental safety food safety legal regulations company requirements etc.
  • Compliance with the Companys Integrated Management Systems which includes but is not limited to Production Quality Food Safety & GMP.
  • Generate and review pick lists based on the production schedule and ensure materials are staged accurately and on time.
  • Pick and pull materials from ambient cooler reefer and freezer locations as required for production.
  • Verify Item numbers quantities lot information and expiration dates when staging and handling materials.
  • Review MRP requirements and ensure materials are ready for production.
  • Identify and communicate material shortages or inventory discrepancies that may impact production.
  • Return unused materials to the appropriate warehouse location and ensure inventory is accurately transacted and stored.
  • Perform accurate put-away bin-to-bin transfers and other inventory movements using the RF scanners/ERP system.
  • Support kitting activities and communicate closely with production planning and warehouse teams regarding material availability and upcoming requirements.
  • Operate warehouse equipment/forklifts as needed and maintain required certifications.
  • Assist with receiving unloading and loading materials as needed.
  • Practice customer service when interacting with other companies and clients and see to it all external parties receive a positive interaction with the company.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Profile

  • Must be 18 years or older with the ability to read write and speak English specific to work instructions including but not limited to safety purposes.
  • High school GED or equivalent diploma required.
  • Experience with ERP database software required.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Four to five years working in a warehouse setting with direct experience in inventory.
  • Must have flexibility with the variety of work responsibilities available.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force at times and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects including the human body.
  • Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F-80F degrees).
  • Ability to repeat motions that may include use of the wrists hands and/or fingers and standing or sitting for prolonged periods (average 8-12 hours).
  • Skills in organization time management prioritization and the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
  • Able to multitask prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent leadership team building.
