Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Source and order the most costeffective parts and materials based on technician requests and maintenance needs.
  • Receive incoming shipments verify accuracy and process inventory updates
  • Keep inventory areas organized to ensure accurate documentation
  • Issue parts and supplies to technicians promptly and accurately
  • Monitor and maintain proper stock levels to prevent shortages or overordering.


Required Qualifications:

Night Shift: 8:45 p.m. 7:15 a.m. Monday through Thursday

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge skills and mentaldevelopment equivalent to the completion of two years of college with anemphasis in computers or office management two years of experience in asimilar role or environment or an equivalent combination of education andexperience. Preferencefor employment in all positions with the city shall be given to applicants whoare full-time city residents.

Preference for employment in all positions with the city shall be given to applicants who are full-time city residents.

To be eligible to apply current City employees must have completed their probationary period and attained certified status in their current position.
