SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (8 am - 4:30 pm)

• Manages the implementation utilization and maintenance of the perpetual inventory system to ensure accurate capture of replenishment and patient charge transactions
• Develops proficiency in all areas of inventory with Workday EPIC and McKesson
• Ensure items have the appropriate barcodes ensure items are cross referenced in the Workday system rotate stock to ensure no out-of-date stock on hand and react appropriately to all critical point messages in Workday.
• Performs inventory management for the OR. Evaluates appropriate Min/Max levels reviews Min/Max for storeroom stock daily. Counts par level areas areas according to schedule. Processes returns per approved policy.
• Participates in annual inventory count/audit.
• Works with Biomedical department to ensure all equipment is properly tagged tested and functioning. .
• Assists the Directors of Surgical Services Nurse Manager and the Purchasing Dept. with special projects including product/vendor evaluation investigation of comparative pricing pursuit of consignment and discount opportunities negotiations and selections.
• Communicates effectively with all sales representatives while maintaining professional relationships and controlling vendor activity in the Department.
• Works with Clinical Resources on all OR Supply cost management projects
• Maintains effective communication with all parties involved in the operations of the OR.
• Performs other duties as assigned/required by manager.

Education/Training/Experience:

• High School Diploma required bachelors degree preferred
• At least two years experience in inventory management/control preferably in a critical care unit OR preferred.
