Inventory Control Clerk

POSITION OVERVIEW

Handle a variety of Inventory Control tasks and duties on a daily basis ensuring accuracy timeliness and support to all departments at the Cranbury Distribution Center.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze inventory discrepancies (line shorts/missing product) and variances through cycle counts trouble shooting and systematic research.
• Coordinate replenishments when product is needed at location
• Communicate to Customer Management as needed
• Update inventory balances as needed
• Participate in physical inventories if needed.
• Partner with Cycle Count Reconciliation Lead to assist variance research
• Assist with processing Cancelled Orders
• Perform inventory transactions when needed. (receipts adjustments transfers and returns) into the WMS System.
• Provide coverage for the Inventory Control Supervisor and Lead when needed.
• Process damage sheets in SCALE system
• Assist with packing product to move to Reserve

Physical Requirements

• Able to pick/pack unpack and lift cartons up to 30lbs as required by the role
• Ability to push and pull picking carts pallets and material handling equipment
• Continuous standing/walking for an average of 7.5 hours/day
• Continuous bending/movement of arms torso and legs for an average of 7.5 hours/day.

Qualifications :

• 2 years of relevant experience in a Distribution Center environment
• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment

The position rate is at $19.50/hour for 1st Shift

1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
