Inventory Control Associate

TBest Services is hiring an Inventory Control Associate for a manufacturing client in Elkridge MD. The company supports electronics and electromechanical production where accurate parts counting inventory control material organization and proper documentation are essential to keeping production moving smoothly.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented candidate to support inventory accuracy parts tracking and material flow. This role is responsible for counting verifying labeling organizing and tracking parts and components used for manufacturing assembly and production support.

Responsibilities

• Count parts components and materials accurately using count sheets barcode scanners or inventory systems.
• Perform daily cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
• Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy.
• Identify report and help resolve inventory discrepancies shortages or incorrect part counts.
• Label organize and store inventory in the correct locations.
• Prepare and pull parts or kits for manufacturing production.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP or warehouse management system.
• Assist with receiving stocking picking staging and material movement as needed.
• Work with production purchasing shipping and receiving teams to support material availability.
• Follow safety quality and inventory control procedures.
• Keep the work area clean organized and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous manufacturing warehouse inventory stockroom or parts control experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Ability to read part numbers labels count sheets and work instructions.
• Experience with barcode scanners ERP systems or inventory software is a plus.
• Ability to stand walk bend reach and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Cycle counting or inventory audit experience.
• Experience preparing parts or kits for production.
• Experience in manufacturing electronics electrical assembly or warehouse inventory.
