Job Summary

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

The Intramural Team Lead assists the Intramural Coordinator and professional staff in overseeing daily program operations managing game logistics and supervising student staff. This position ensures a safe engaging and well-run recreational environment by serving as a peer leader assisting with staff coverage and marketing and resolving on-site match day issues.


Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Assist professional staff and the Intramural Coordinator in supervising daily operations program execution and student staff.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for match day issues rule interpretations and operational challenges.
  • Help train mentor and support intramural officials and event staff during shifts.
  • Provide scheduling flexibility to cover unfilled shifts and maintain adequate staff coverage.
  • Assist with the creation design and distribution of marketing and promotional materials.
  • Direct or assist with game set-up scorekeeping officiating and tear-down.
  • Enforce program rules safety protocols and sportsmanship standards firmly and fairly. Report incidents injuries facility concerns and equipment needs directly to professional staff.


Qualifications:

  • Current student in good standing.
  • Demonstrated leadership communication and peer management skills.
  • Knowledge of sports rules is preferred but comprehensive training is provided.
  • Highly dependable flexible and available to work evening shifts.
