InterpreterTranslator (as needed)

The Lebanon School District is accepting applicants for interpreting/ available on anas neededbasis.

Internal staff will be paid $25/hr. outside of normal work hours.

Job Goal:
In this role you will be responsible for translating written texts and/or interpreting spoken communication between languages ensuring accuracy clarity and cultural sensitivity in a confidential setting.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in at least two languages including native or near-native proficiency in the target language.
• Proven experience as a translator and/or interpreter with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating linguistic proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both source and target languages.
• Knowledge of cultural differences and the ability to adapt communication to diverse cultural contexts.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy and quality in translations and interpretations.
• Certification or accreditation as a translator and/or interpreter is preferred but not required.
• High School diploma/GED
