Internship, Universal Creative – Engineering Robotics (ATI) (Spring 2027)

JOB SUMMARY: The Advanced Technology Intern supports the development of innovative technology platforms by researching emerging solutions solving complex problems and building rapid prototypes. This role offers hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle including design integration testing and implementation of hardware software and interactive systems.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contributes to development of internal work in all phases from conception to final release. Scope of work may include:

• Planning budgeting design implementation installation testing adjustment and documentation;
• Hardware software network and electronic architecture;
• Modeling coding data processing prototyping constructing and integrating;
• Sensors artificial intelligence mixed reality hardware mixed reality software and integrated systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• In pursuit of an Associate Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
• Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
• A transcript is required upon application.
• Strong communication skills problem solving data-driven and solution-focused

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• Preferred majors include: Mechanical Electrical Mechatronics Industrial Controls Computer Engineer Computer Science or similar.
• Lab/project/prototyping experience
• CAD (SolidWorks or Fusion360) experience
• Python Arduino Raspberry Pi Unity Unreal experience

• This internship will be an in-person experience based in our Orlando offices.
• Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university and must have a graduation date later than April 2027.
• Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
• All of our internships are paid and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
