Interns work on multiple team engagements each year including several pieces of anyparticular assignment-not just one part. Examples of the candidates responsibilities include:
Workingonclient engagements from start to finish which includes planning executing and completing tax and transfer pricing projects
Workingwith otherassociates andmanagers ontax and transfer pricing projectsconducting detailed economic financial and accounting analysesdemonstratingan understanding of transfer pricing concepts and methodapplication to cases
Evaluatingintercompany transfers of tangible goods intangible property services and loans and conductingfinancial and economic analyses of multinational and domestic corporations industry and market research economic valuations comparative financial benchmarking and report documentation
Preparing and analyzingfinancial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliancethrough the use ofMS Word Excel and various statistical sampling packages
Reviewing and analyzing GAAP financial statements
Interactingwith clientpersonnelto gather information
BasicQualifications:
90 credit hours completed
Working towards B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from accredited university
Business Major (including accounting financeeconomicsand business management)
A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred
Knowledge in several of the following areas: financial statement analysis valuations quantitativeanalysisindustry analysis andstatistical sampling and econometrics
Strong analyticalskills
Strong written and verbal communication skills solidresearchand computer skills includingproficiencyin Microsoft Office Suitespecifically MS exceland the ability to work will both autonomously and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail
Foreign language skills a plus
Ability to workadditionalhours as needed andtravel to various client sites
Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments

At RSM an employees pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including but not limited to education skills work experience certifications location etc. As such pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
