International Operations Agent

Job Title: International Airfreight Specialist
Location: Nashville TN
Position Type: Full-time
Schedule: MondayFriday in office (with occasional weekend/evening client updates as needed)

Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of international airfreight shipments (import/export) from booking through final delivery
Prepare and process all required airfreight documentation including MAWB/HAWB commercial invoices packing lists certificates of origin AES filings etc.
Coordinate with airlines truckers overseas agents customs brokers and clients to ensure timely and compliant cargo movement
Track and monitor shipments throughout transit and provide proactive communication and updates to customers including occasional weekend or evening updates when needed
Ensure compliance with TSA IATA U.S. Customs and all other governing regulations
Support customer needs with strong service problem-solving and attention to detail
Collaborate with internal team members and contribute to a positive team-oriented work environment
Learn and support ocean import operations if not already experienced

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of airfreight import/export experience within a freight forwarding environment
Strong understanding of international air cargo processes documentation and regulations
Ocean import knowledge is a plus; willingness to learn is required
Stable work history with longevity in prior roles (not multiple one-year transitions)
Excellent communication customer service and organizational skills
Proven ability to manage shipments independently from AZ
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and handle time-sensitive shipments
Proficiency with freight forwarding systems and carrier platforms preferred
