Internal Controls Analyst

Make an impact supporting the Department of the Air Force!Lynch Consultants is seeking a highly motivated Internal ControlsAnalyst. This individual will help improve financial processes evaluate internal controls identify areas for improvement and support the Air Forces financial audit readiness efforts.

Salary:$73000 commensurate with years of experience

Work Location and Schedule:

• Hybrid: 3 days onsite inCamp Springs/Joint Base Andrews MDand 2 days remote.
  

Required Qualifications Must Have:

• MUST have a Bachelors degree in accounting finance business or a related field.

• MUSThave an ACTIVE Secret Clearance.

• MUST be a U.S Citizen.

• MUST have 3 years of experience in financial management internal controls auditing business process improvement or a related field.

Preferred Qualification:

• Strong understanding of DoD financial operation.

Job Duties:

• Review financial processes and internal controls to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.

• Conduct interviews and walkthroughs with Air Force personnel to understand existing processes.

• Document processes findings and recommendations for corrective actions.

• Help develop and improve policies procedures and internal control documentation.

• Analyze financial and operational data and prepare reports for management.

• Work with Air Force personnel and other stakeholders to implement improvements.

• Prepare presentations and briefings to communicate progress and recommendations.
