Job Description

As a PNC Intern you willparticipatein a best-in-class internship program.During this 10-week programyou will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a specific line of business expand the toolsyou need to launch yourcareerand complement your education with real-world job experience.

Internal Auditis responsible forproviding assurance on the effectiveness of PNCs risk management control and governance processes to the audit committee and board of directors.PNC Auditors provide independent objectiveassuranceand consulting services designed to add value and recommend improvements to the organizations operations.Internal Auditaccomplishesthis through the following key strategies:

PNC Auditorsparticipatein a wide variety of audit opportunities under the guidance and supervision of more experienced audit personnel. Assigned duties may include the following responsibilities:

  • Exposure to the audit processissuesmanagement and continuous monitoring.

  • Testing internal control systems and compliance with established audit policies and procedures.

  • Assistingin performing and documenting audit procedures used to appraise the soundness and adequacy of internal control systems.

  • Assistingin performing transactions and functional testing of books and records.

  • Participation in a capstone group project around key initiatives or emerging risks.

Salaries may vary based on geographic location market data and on individual skills experience and education.
