Internal Audit Associate

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Audit Associate to support our newly established Internal Audit department. This role will assist with the development of the Internal Audit function and support the implementation of a successful SOX compliance program for an emerging and growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their audit accounting or finance career who is looking to gain hands-on experience build foundational SOX and internal controls knowledge and grow within a dynamic internal audit Responsibilities:Support the development and execution of the companys SOX compliance SOX process walkthroughs and assist in documenting key processes risks and in the preparation and maintenance of process narratives flowcharts and risk and control identify key financial reporting risks and related internal with control design assessments and documentation of control internal audit and SOX testing activities including gathering evidence organizing documentation and tracking open with process owners across Accounting Operations IT and other business clear accurate and well-organized audit documentation in accordance with internal audit with status reporting issue tracking remediation follow-up and other SOX program management to continuous improvement efforts as the internal audit function and SOX program :Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.2 to 3 years of relevant experience in internal audit external audit SOX compliance accounting or understanding of internal controls financial reporting risks and audit documentation with SOX compliance public accounting or corporate internal proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis tools is a analytical organizational and problem-solving written and verbal communication to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple priorities and attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate well-organized and high-quality proudly offer: Medical Dental Vision 401K with Company Match Pet insurance and more!We reward the hard work of our team members with fun and exciting company events Summer Picnic Festive Packages Holiday Celebrations and associate referral bonuses!Founded in 2011 Piping Rock Health Products has gone on to win Long Islands Top Workplaces Award 8 years in a row & securing the spot as Top Supplement Manufacturing Company 2024 by Food Business Review!
