Zachrys Summer Engineering Internship Program gives university students handson exposure to engineering in an EPC (Engineering Procurement & Construction) environment. Interns work directly with experienced engineers designers and project teams who develop solutions for complex industrial facilities including power generation refining chemicals manufacturing and major industrial infrastructure.
Interns will support active engineering and construction projects while gaining exposure to field operations design coordination and project execution workflows. This program is designed to help students explore their discipline in a real project environment and begin building their professional engineering identity.
What Youll Do
- Support design and analysis of piping systems rotating equipment and thermal systems
- Assist in developing engineering deliverables (PFDs P&IDs equipment specs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support FEED and detailed design efforts
- Participate in real-world problem solving tied to plant operations maintenance and upgrades
- Gain exposure to projects in power generation energy transition and industrial manufacturing
