Engineering Interns support the design and execution of custom water and wastewater treatment equipment while applying academic engineering concepts in a manufacturing environment.
Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Assist engineers with design calculations equipment sizing and technical documentation.
Support development of process flow diagrams (PFDs) P&IDs and layout drawings.
Review customer specifications and assist with compliance checks.
Help coordinate technical information with manufacturing and procurement teams.
Support testing troubleshooting and system documentation activities.
Maintain organized records of drawings submittals and engineering files.
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program (Engineering etc.).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Interest in manufacturing industrial systems or water/wastewater treatment.
Learning Focus:
Fundamentals of industrial water/wastewater treatment.
Real world application of engineering theory.
Exposure to custom equipment manufacturing and fabrication processes.
ADA Requirements:
This position typically requires standing walking climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching crawling reaching pushing pulling lifting fingering grasping feeling talking hearing seeing and performing repetitive motions.
Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.
The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal performance of job.
Compliance with company attendance standards.
Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts electrical currents vibrations fumes odors dusts gases poor ventilation chemicals oils extreme temperatures inadequate lighting workspace restrictions intense noises and travel.
