Our North American Industrial Process & Environmental group is searching for a Computer Science Intern to support our location in Salt Lake City UT. The successful candidate will be able to perform the essential job functions listed below.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Assist in the design and development of software applications or systems

clean efficient and maintainable code

with team members to troubleshoot and optimize existing applications

in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing

the testing and deployment of software solutions

updated on industry trends and best practices

to team meetings and brainstorming development processes and code changes

Skills/Experience Required:

or completed a BS Degree in Computer Science or related field

interest in software development and programming

knowledge of programming languages (i.e. C Python Matlab Powershell Javascript)

with version control systems (i.e. SVN Git)

problem-solving skills and attention to detail

communication and teamwork abilities

with internal customers

to learn new technologies and frameworks

internship or project experience is a plus but not required
